Mountain Meisters, other ski race series get underway

Races are held from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Fridays throughout the ski season (excluding Jan. 14, Feb. 11 and Feb. 25) starting Jan. 7 and ending March 4. Race times will be shown on Live Timing on a TV near the Slopeside Bar. League members may create teams comprised of up to five racers.

The Mountain Meisters Race League, which holds its weekly races at Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, N.H., is the longest and largest-running community ski race league in the United States. More than 30 teams and 300-400 racers participate each Wednesday throughout the winter schedule, building points throughout the season.

Mountain Meisters Race to Donate Thanks to the Play2Play program, Cranmore’s Mountain Meister Race League donated $814 in funds to End 68 Hours of Hunger’s MWV chapter. The funds were raised during the 10-week race series. The 10-week series is one of the largest community race leagues in the country with over 30 teams and 350 local racers.
