The six groups each have four 1-hour races spread over a 24 hour period. So if you were co-driving a 1966 Porsche 911 in Group A, you were racing from 2 – 3pm, 7 – 8pm, 1 – 2am, and 7 – 8am. No small feat for a 51 year old car (and some drivers that had more years of experience than the cars they were driving).
