A person who is a cleared case of COVID-19 who becomes a close contact of a diagnosed person within 12 weeks of ending isolation is exempt from the requirements for a close contact of that diagnosed person. Note: a close contact who is a cleared case should follow the Guidelines for Close Contacts approved by the Chief Health Officer.
