So I got the Risse Racing flat crowns for the 888r. I know there has been some interest in these so I thought I'd post the results. The set up I have is: 2003 Bullit, King steelset, 200mm 888r, and 26" wheels front/rear. I've got the lower Risse crown set about an 1/8" up from the MIN line on the fork leg.

But the quality of the Risse crowns is pretty good. They used the same size bolt heads for the steerer clamp and stanchion clamps, which is nice because you won't need multiple allen's to get them off. They even lasered the torque specs on to them, nice touch. The steerer itself looks nice too.
