The Coronation Cup became Romford’s third major trophy in 1986 before the Golden Sprint was introduced a year later. The Champion Stakes was then resurrected in 1988 and since then the stadium has become one of the UK’s most visited dog tracks. We celebrated our 90th anniversary in 2019, which coincided with a £10 million refurbishment.
