A greyhound must not race compete in a race or trial for seven days after being vaccinated. The NSW Greyhound Welfare Code of Practice requires that all greyhounds kept by participants must be vaccinated, and that vaccinations must be kept up to date. All racing greyhounds must be vaccinated by 30 April 2023 or they will be ineligible to race.
