A register of qualified ski racing judges shall be maintained by the SRA. (a) All SRA Chief and Event Judges are bound by the Code of Conduct. (b) The control and observation at turn buoys shall be carried out by Event Judges or lap scorers, who will submit a report to the Chief Judge.

At the December board meeting, the Ski Racing Australia board considered and unanimously ratified the following Speed related limits. Updates to the 2017/18 Rule Book have been made and can be viewed as addendums to the rule book . New Speed Limits as follows: The entire sport is to be capped at 120mph. Effective immediately.

The Ski Racing Australia Safety Committee meets monthly to discuss the overall safety of the sport. It is the primary task of the Safety Committee to lead the change and research direction in areas such as helmets, PFD’s, Rules that relate to safety, incident reporting and the general welfare of skiers, drivers and observers.

A racer who is interfered with must immediately ski out of the course and notify a course official AND the Finish Referee. If racer crosses finish, an interference ruling is moot.
