    I'm going to brace panel 1 and panel 2, most likely with a solid sheet and a 10" diameter circle cut out of it (slot area would need a 7" diameter circle to allow for the air to move freely so I think I'm fairly safe from airflow restriction with 10"). I think I should brace the slot port side panel too, so going from panel 2 to panel 3.

    Regarding the bracing - no problem at all, but this port is very, very long with 180 degrees turn - not ideal! Use 90 degrees turn and do perform some measurements before final assembly. Or use passive radiator instead the port. Quite! Further, a very good rule of thumb for round ports is to use a length of no more than twice the diameter.

    The problem with slot ports is that they "generally" compress sooner (especially when narrow aspect, like we would likely do in our size boxes) vs a flared round port surface area is greater + friction is greater (mdf vs pvc) = loss is greater/sooner
