Many St Ives members and committee have spent a great deal of time over the past month or more working to make a great event and should feel they deserve a break. I understand that newer members might be disappointed as they may not have been racing much with no novice class for the last few weeks but the nats only comes around once in a blue ...

St Ives RC track and drivers stand update. The club is presently looking at options to build a new drivers stand. One option is pallet racking with stairs on one end. Presently this is looking to be quite expensive so we are having to consider other options. The council will only allow something that 'looks similar' to what is there now.

Also, and I think many would agree, smaller jumps are really frustrating as they don't flow. The triple is the biggest jump at St Ives, but it is by no means huge, it's just that there's presently no obvious landing transition. So with mod, people just go huge with the air, as there is not much to gain easing on the trigger.

    2. ACME Touring Car parts. Best I can tell these are parts for one of the ACME (Acme RC or Racing) touring cars. N.B. No wheels, shocks or body but it seems you can still buy these cars (I at least found a website). 3. Truck wheels and tyres. 12mm hex style. Not really an option for racing at St Ives but maybe for something else you have?

The event listed on the St Ives site says racing is today, the 11th. But the track might as well have been closed yesterday. I saw a kid with a buggy get turned away.
