Pull the pump out of the windsheild washer resevoir and plumb it to an external pump and on to the filter/fuel rails. Use a flow restrictor inline from the main pump at the tank and route it into the new small tank up front. It'll take some testing to see how much flow is needed to keep the levels balanced....but you'll never fuel starve again!
