Review of Summit truck headers There were a couple of issues with installation that could be better. The EGR fitting on the driver side header is slightly lower than the factory manifold which pushed the fitting too close to the fire wall and forced me to modify the fire wall by hammering a bend or "dent" into it.

Yes they are nice quality headers. However I had some issues. #1 I did have to ding the #8 tube to even get the plug wire on. Will HAVE to be removed to change at least two of the plugs. Bad design there. #2 And this is not Summits fault as these are Pace Setter headers, First set was packaged both drivers side.

John, I just purchased a set of summit ceramic headers for the 307 in the 69. I was very impressed with the fit. I didnt have to do any ballpien hammer modifying at all. something I have always had to do with other cars. I cant tell you how durable they are but they sure look good.
