My involvement in speedway started at Te Marua Raceway in Upper Hutt (from 1970 to 1980) racing stockcars for three seasons, then several seasons of saloon cars (100e. V8 HT Holden), and the ex Keith Marriott from Palmerston North XU1 Torana. Then it was three seasons racing a 350 Injected Chev powered sprintcar which we bought from Auckland.
