Next month i wana throw in a new set of coilovers on my 2007 Sti. I narrowed my personal choice down to the BC Er Series or the Tein Monoflex. I think the BC's are good value but i've heard they are to firm for daily use. The Tein's are my favorite ones right now, but are they worth the extra 1000 $. Aaaahhh back and forth what should i do, i ...

BC Racing vs Tein Flex? - NASIOC

Tein makes a good coilover, no question. But, if you are not autocrossing or tracking the car, definitely get the BC's and save the $600. I've driven lots of different Subies on lots of different coilovers (DC Sports, Koni/GC, ZZYZX, Ohlins, Tein) and I would not hesitate to recommend the BC to anyone.

Tein Flex Z vs BC Racing BR | Acura RSX, ILX and Honda EP3 Forum

    https://www.clubrsx.com/threads/tein-flex-z-vs-bc-racing-br.1268796/
Things I've heard and researched is that Tein Flex Z are softer than BC BR, Teins are more reliable (e.g. rust resistant, made in japan,...), BC BR is stiffer, and BC is more performance oriented (better response, etc.). Anyone who ran them lmk how they were and if these are true, pros and cons? Alright which should I get? [/QUOTE

Tein Street Basis vs BC racing coilovers - Honda Element Owners …

It depends on how long you plan on keeping the car, I went with BC because they offer all the parts to rebuild them your self. If you blow a shock you can order 1 shock if you need to strip a adjuster you can order it. With tein you would have to pull all the suspension slap on your stock or another suspension and have a shop re build it.

Posted April 25, 2012. Tein Super Racing/RS seem to be far more widely used on serious circuit cars. Looking under a number of Japanese Time Attack cars like Cyber EVO etc and you will see the Teins. They can also be rebuilt locally and valved to whatever spring/application you are after.

hey guys, currently torn between a few options. been looking through forums all week. Budget is under $2000 CAD and have been considering the Tein Flex A as the car is a daily and don’t want anything harsher than stock. From what i’ve seen, Tein Flex Z go just as or basically as low as the BC racing BRs, however I don’t know if this is ...

Opinion on BC Racing BR Coilover Kit vs Tein Flex Z - reddit

    https://www.reddit.com/r/ft86/comments/go8r7b/opinion_on_bc_racing_br_coilover_kit_vs_tein_flex/
I don't track the car (yet), so I'm looking for a reasonably comfortable daily road setup that gives me some performance in the canyon twisties on the weekend. I've narrowed down my choices to the BC Racing BR or the Tein Flex Z kits. Both are around the same price (about $1300CAD), both offer a lot of adjustment, and come with front camber ...
