TMBRA will use one standard plate for the 2021 Spring and Fall cross-country (XC) as well as the 2022 marathon (XCM) race series. Every race participant is required to utilize a season plate for race scoring and timing for each unique race category in which they will compete (ex. Singlespeed 2/3 and Cat 2 40-44).

You must have a USAC license to participate in a TMBRA sponsored race. If you are a Cat 2 or Cat 3 racer ( Cat 1 for one event) you can purchase a one day license for $10, good only for that race day, or you can purchase an annual adult license for $99- this fee went up in order to subsidize the free junior licenses.

TMBRA Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association May 18 · Hill Abell, the now retired owner of Bicycle Sport Shop and past President of TMBRA, brought the Paydirt program to Texas over 20 years ago. It was started in 1996 by the Jersey racing organization and has spread all over the US.
