The 270 has great bottom power. The power is very smooth and pulls hard into the mid to top end. The motor becomes very track-able with a much improved off idle response when the kit is used with the stock or stage one cam. This puts the meat of the power in the middle of the rpm range where most SX GNCC and woods rider spend most of their time.

The Thumper Racing 290 kit is the best of both worlds, it gives power and performance with a great bottom end boost. The 290 is a torque motor when compared to the stock 250 or our 270 kit. It puts the power to the ground in a more controlled way. The motor revs slightly slower than stock and puts all that extra power to the ground.
