Six Pack: Easy Triumph TR6 Performance Upgrades

    https://classicmotorsports.com/articles/six-pack-easy-triumph-tr6-performance-upgrades/
The TR6 can climb from zero to 60 mph in 10 seconds. At least, that’s what Triumph claimed early in the car’s production history. These numbers have always seemed pretty ambitious to us, as 12 to 14 seconds seems normal for TR6s in the real world.

Triumph TR6 high-performance motor - HotTR6

    http://www.hottr6.com/triumph/TR6motor.html
A really nice streetable motor will cost around $5K, and from there it can reach $15K in a big hurry (ask me how I know!). Still, it is cheaper than a Jag straight-6. Note on engine swaps: A lot of people drop small-block V8s into their TR6. This is certainly cost-effective compared with building a manly straight-6.

TR6 – Triumph Club – Vintage Triumph Register

    https://vintagetriumphregister.org/tr6/
The TR6 was introduced in January, 1969, using similar chassis and running gear components to those used in the TR5/TR250. However, the body work, while retaining some elements of the TR5/TR250 design, was externally restyled by Karmann. Apart from smoothing the lines of the car, the design changes also gave the car more boot space.
