    Trackir uses his hardware (that cam) to do all the calculation so there's no fps drop. You should just check eBay maybe you will find trackir at good price. If you still want uses the alternatives remember to use ps3 eye as that cam can record in 60 fps ( or 120 I don't remember) 1. level 2.
