I'll bite. The 351w and 351C are completely different motors with very few interchangable parts (cant think of anything interchangable other then the lifters off the top of my head). The Cleveland is physically larger. The Windsor has what many people consider to be a stronger bottom end and a better oiling system in stock form, but the Cleveland bottom end …

the 351W is a good, cheap build that can make good torque too. It's often used in pretty much anything. Also, the Windsor is readily availible for EFI conversion. The 351C is a good race ready motor. the 2V open heads produce decent power, but the Aussie quenched 2V heads produce monster low end and excellent top end.

2: stock for stock the oiling system on the 351w is better than the 351c system, BUT if you look at cut aways of the blocks you will see why. most people think the 351c oiling system runs oil to the cam bearing first then to the mains, and technically that is incorrect. in the 351w system, the main oil galley intersects the galley that feeds the cam and main bearings, …

As far as which one is better, i was talking to ed curtis about this and he said that the bearing speeds with the 351W mains get to high. That is why it's best to keep the RPMs under 6500 to prevent premature bearing faliure on the 351W 3" mains. But if your buying a dart block which comes with 2.75" mains you won't have any problems.

The cleveland will make more power easier than a windsor, but the 351w is a better choice. Main reason is cost and availality, the 351w can be had cheap and lots of parts out there for them. With todays modern speed parts a 351w can run as strong as a cleveland so I advise using them.

To those that Drag race with a 351C setup... i have questions

    https://www.corral.net/threads/to-those-that-drag-race-with-a-351c-setup-i-have-questions.895762/
The 351C is gifted with a fairly wide clamping surface so the cap isn't as easy to walk on the 2 bolt mains as it is on a 302 or 351W. I would torque the studs about 10 pounds tighter than what you would a regular bolt which torques on 105 pounds (115 for the studs). Or, use the recommendation from ARP if they have one.
