I ordered up a Summit Billet Distributor, get it here and drop it in the block. Get it to spline right, even got the oil pump shaft in one shot. Notice the top of the distributor wobbles in the intake manifold hole. My HEI and old points distributor fit tight. So call up summit they send me a new one. Shows up tonite and same issue.

The Summit 6A style ignition box is made by MSD in the U.S.A. in El Paso,Tx. I know for a fact because I toured the MSD plant last week and they were building the Summit ignition box. They use the exact same components as the MSD 6A series of ignitions.
