    That's a hard question to answer. I have heard Richmond made them for Summit as well as GM. I've also heard that they were made in Korea and China (what isn't these days). You will read as many likes as dislikes about Summit gears. My guess is that the complaints were because they were not set up correctly. Good Luck.
