Discussion Starter · #1 · Oct 9, 2003 Ward Burton was fired by Bill Davis racing on Thursday October 8th, 2003 and was replaced by Scott Wimmer (who drives for Bill Davis in the Busch series) for the remainder of the season. This means that Ward Burton is NO LONGER going to be a driver for Dodge! What about next year?

I always liked Ward's "gonna whoop your ass" attitude and I know he rubbed some folks the wrong way, but he basically vanished from Nascar until recently.
