yes you can use eiather color when each voltage is in it own raceway but when the two voltages are in the same raceway than straight white cannot be used for the 277v circuit. The 277v must be identifilable from the 110v circuit. I know all is just talk without quoting code sections but I lost my at a job recently. jwjrw Senior Member Oct 16, 2010

    Q. Can I install 120V conductors in the same space with 277V conductors? If the answer is yes, what restrictions apply? A. Power conductors of AC and DC systems rated 600V or less can occupy the same raceway, cable, or enclosure if all conductors have an insulation voltage rating not less than the maximum circuit voltage [300.3(C)(1)]. Control, signal, and …

Can you put 120v and 277v in same conduit?

Can you get 120v from 277v? In this case, the answer is yes. Just like fluorescent ballasts marked 120v-277v, an LED driver marked 120v-277v will self-adjust to the voltage of the power supply being supplied, assuming the voltage falls in the described range. For example, 120v-277v will operate on any voltage between 120v and 240v.

It could be a problem if you tried to put like a 120 volt and a 277 volt switch in the same box. Your not allowed more than 300 volts in a switch box.

Re: Can I run 0-10V control wires with 277V in same conduit. 11/12/2009 1:17 PM. If you absolutely must run the control signals in the same conduit as the power then 10 vdc is definitely the wrong way to go for the reasons JRaef explains. If it were a short run then running a 4-20 mA signal through shielded twisted pair might work but 400' is ...

We have a site with a two (2) 480/277 VAC panel's sandwiched in between them is a 208/120 VAC panel, they have utilized the 208/120 panel as a raceway passing conductors from one 480/277 panel to the other 480/277 panel. Any issues, there appears to be suficent space for the conductors.
