    Last year (2012) there was still talk of the expansion of the Kalaeloa Raceway (near the airport for Private aircraft) to accomodate drag racers. However, AFAIK nothing has happened, and probably never will. In Hawaii, on Oahu, there is no lack of support (read money) to accomodate the sports car crowd, but Dragracers are of a lessor breed, it seems.
