    Referring to the manufacturer information, a 7-10mm preload was recommended. Measuring spring length, I used a jack to bring the spring up 10mm & shortened the shock body to hold the spring up. Removed the jack and let the shock/spring system fully extend, the shock shortening at the 10mm height increase resulted in a 5mm spring loading set.
