I highly doubt that Magen racing and other Chinese or Taiwanese shocks are valved correctly. I would personally look for the Koni race shocks or Koni yellows. Koni knows what they are doing when it comes to shock absorber valving. I don't know what the part numbers are for the koni race shocks but a search on here should yield a good result.

If your just using these as a daily, Teins will be good, but I think Megans are bang for buck. Also, most of these coilovers are made in the same factory. And for longevity of cheaper coilovers, my buddy is running FF type 2 for almost 80k miles and no problems what so ever. But that could also be a hit or miss lol.
