    Finally after 3 visits to my GP I was referred to a Neuro and they suspect the jolts are myoclonic and the dizzy / racing heart episodes are also a type of seizure. I have had an EEG and it was normal. The Neuro has prescribed Epilim which I started taking 4 weeks ago and it appears to be helping as the frequency and severity has reduced.
