For those of you who aren’t aware, I love doing the snail racing during the fundraising campaign for Relay For Life of Second Life. That means that there are Relay Giant Snail races from March to June. With Tiny races scattered between, as happened during the May Fest last weekend. I think I did my very first Relay Giant Snail race back in 2009.

Your snail will have enough speed to win the race. The reason we stop hitting the z key at that point is that hitting the z key stops the snail for a second while their sempai notices them. The time spent stopped can be enough to overpower the speed the snail has gained, and lead to losing a race.
