    CV bracing differs from Standard II bracing in that the braces are taller, narrower and of a different profile. It is my understanding that they are positioned after the Standard II pattern. Taylor makes CV braces do not have to be made of adirondack spruce; they can also be made using sitka spruce.

And that relief rout was implemented only in certain models ...IIRC from 500 series on up at first year, then to the rest of the line in subsequent years eventually on down to the 300s (dunno about the 100/200s).
